(CNN)A New Zealand man has been jailed for almost two years for sharing a video of the Christchurch mosque shootings that killed 51 people. Brazil Recently Approved Hundreds Of New Pesticides Banned Elsewhere

Brazil, home of the Amazon rainforest and some of the world’s richest biodiversity, has approved over 1,000 new pesticide products in recent years, according to a new report by Greenpeace UK’s news agency Unearthed. The spike in pesticides being registered and approved in Brazil has primarily occurred since 2016 under the far-right president Jair Bolsonaro and his conservative predecessor, Michel Temer, in a push to deregulate the environment and bolster agriculture. The use of over 1,200 pesticides and weedkillers has been given the go-ahead under their command, including 193 containing chemicals banned in the EU. Iran says it will break the uranium stockpile limit agreed under nuclear deal in 10 days

(CNN)Iran is ramping up enrichment of low-grade uranium and will pass the limit it is allowed to stockpile under the nuclear deal in 10 days, a spokesman for the Iranian atomic agency announced Monday. After exceeding the limit, Iran will accelerate uranium enrichment to 3.7%, Kamalvandi said — above the 3.67% mandated by the nuclear deal. Enrichment at this percentage is enough to continue powering parts of the country’s energy needs, but not enough to ever build a nuclear bomb. Under the nuclear deal, Iran was permitted to stockpile limited amounts of enriched uranium and heavy water produced in that process, exporting any excess.
